On April 8, 2025, the 16th edition of the Business Lady International Awards took place in one of Sofia’s most elegant classical halls. The event honored the contributions of women in Bulgaria’s corporate sector. The organizers from Event me entrusted our team with the full catering experience—from menu and equipment to service execution.

Precision Planning Under Tight Deadlines

With only two weeks for preparation, the event demanded seamless coordination across logistics, kitchen, and front-of-house teams. The venue—a grand hall with a classic ceiling and ornate chandeliers—called for carefully selected textiles, serviceware, and decorations to complement, not compete with, the architecture.

Tables were dressed in burgundy linens and styled with gold candleholders and floral centerpieces in red and white. Every element was part of the ceremony’s visual language: folded napkins, glass placement, polished cutlery. We used crystal plates and high-clarity glasses to add dimension and refinement.

A Menu in Sync with the Evening’s Rhythm

We crafted a catering concept that matched the event’s pace—elegant yet unobtrusive, designed to support rather than distract from the stage.

The menu featured a mix of cocktail canapés and plated dishes, aligned with the three-hour format and the ceremony’s focus. Beverage service included a well-curated selection of still and sparkling water, and chilled wine served at optimal temperature.
